ORAL HEALTH AS THE GATEWAY TO THE BODY
ORAL HEALTH IS THE GATEWAY TO THE BODY
Oral health touches every aspect of our lives but it is often taken for granted.
The mouth is the gateway to the body, it is very important that oral hygiene be carried out on a regular basis to enable prevention of dental disease and bad breath.
The oral cavity shows signs of nutritional deficiencies or general infection. Some systemic diseases that affect the entire body may first be detected from the mouth through mouth lesions or other oral problems. Whether you are 100 or 10, your oral health is very important.
Many people believe that they need to see a dentist only if they are in pain or think something is wrong, however regular dental visits can contribute to a lifetime of good oral health. You can practice good oral hygiene by always brushing your teeth twice twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste using a medium toothbrush. Cleaning between your teeth once a day with a floss or interdental floss, replacing your toothbrush every three or four months. Don’t forget to visit the dentist every 6 month for regular dental check-ups to keep your smile, and yourself health.
Remember your smile is the best accessory you can wear
